My Little Pony Make Your Mark I Can Read!

The HarperCollins I Can Read! My Little Pony book series features pony characters from the Hasbro my little pony franchise. These books have been a big hit in my house because my children love the fifth generation of My Little Pony from the Netflix show Make Your Mark. How Accessible is The Language in the My Little Pony Books? The books are rated at level 1 and 2 of the I Can Read! series. I thought that this rating was too low because there are some difficult words to decode and I would have placed them all at level two or three. Tips For GTEC Speaking Interacting With Others Practice

The second part of of the GTEC (Global Test of English Communication) speaking section is based on interacting with others, often this is presented as sharing information from a flyer, timetable or poster. The GTEC speaking exam is a computer based test (CBT) this means that tablets are used to record the students oral responses.

For the interacting with others sections students should be able to respond promptly and appropriately to questions that they are asked. Students have 15 seconds to prepare. The contents of this section are variable,  I have seen flyers, timetables, posters and shop opening hours. The kind of content presented is usually clearly laid out and the answers can be deducted without too much interogation. Students are given 15 seconds to reply.

The other sections in the GTEC speaking test are reading aloud, telling a story and expressing an opinion.

To be successful in the interacting with others section students should be familiar with a wide range of English informational materials. Test materials are usually more simple than real world materials. While real media could be a good starting point for introducing this topic ensure that you pick sources which are not too complicated or cluttered with irrelevant details.

Talk about how days of the week could be shortened to Mon, Tues, Weds on flyers. Talk about key words on sales posters such as special offer, discount and reduction. Talk about what age we mean when we say over 60 compare to 60歳以上
